I am looking for a partner to go with me on a 1 week kayaking/freediving/spearfishing/camping trip to Archepeligo de las Perlas, Panama.
I have a Folbot 2-person folding kayak which works well as a free-diving platform (it is wide, and has an open cockpit)
The plan is to fly from Austin or Houston to Panama city ($563) then take a flight to Isla Contadora ($70). Take a taxi to the beach. Load up and gear up the kayak. Then spend a 5 days paddling from island to island (150 small islands within a 15-mile radius) sleep in a tent at night, dive to spearfish, and dive to dive, visit some of the fishing villages, eat at an occasional restaurant.
I am a software developer for Advanced Micro Devices. I have a wife and a 2 year old girl. I know enough Spanish to get by.
