There is a small archipelago in the pacific, not to far from the continent, that the world has overlooked. It has about 10 islands, none more than a few miles across. The water is deep and clear, and abounding with life. The islands are densely covered with vegitation -- the kind of vegetation you saw on the old Tarzan movies. The only development on the islands is one 12-hut eco-lodge -- a single civilized drop in a bucket of wilderness.

Our plan is to arrive on the islands with a 2-person foldable kayak, snorkeling gear, camping gear and a couple of spearguns. We intended to paddle around the islands, camping, spearfishing, and exploring for 5 days. My name is Bryan Weikel, and my partner is Gary Schumann.

I was up until 12:30am packing. Marina lasted until 11:30pm.
